PREAMBLE
The already distant Vatican Council II, the surprise of many Christians - some said they wanted to "debunk" Mary, because according to them, poor fools, it was the "shadow" on his Son! - In its Dogmatic Constitution "Lumen Gentium", has left for posterity one of the most beautiful texts on the Virgin Mary our Mother. The Blessed Virgin in the mystery of Christ

This divine mystery of salvation is revealed to us and continues in the Church, the Savior constituted as a body in which the faithful, following Christ as their head and living in communion with all his saints, should also venerate the memory "of the glorious and ever Virgin Mary, Mother of God, our Lord Jesus Christ ".
