Bis repetita place? Digital Dialogues
It certainly is not usual among well-educated people to quote oneself.
However, I would refer my readers, if any, to my post on March 23, 2009 entitled "the goose that lays golden eggs." He explains why
the crisis of the disc such that, as record store, I saw them arise and grow. Why
business of selling records is it passed into the hands of Apple?
Mostly not, as attempted by the Marquis believe small disk, because of piracy but for three reasons:
1. The majors have deliberately sacrificed the network of stores, their eyes too costly and outdated.
2. These same companies have, for cowardice, failed to offer on the internet an acceptable offer by disc lovers
3. They finally built a pricing contemptuous, absurd, unacceptable by customers.
Sometimes I wonder, not that I shave in the morning, whether in the business of publishing we do not live like a phase to phase 1 of the crisis disk. There is no doubt that publishers, booksellers towards, well-intentioned companies that had the disc at the location of stores.
Notwithstanding the intentions, good or bad, the positions taken in the sale of books "paper" on the internet are the positions for the sale of digital books. Independent booksellers are dramatically absent. The duopoly amazon / FNAC is now rounding up the implementation so that future entrants are called google, apple ...
"Carthago delenda est" asked Cato.
