good God who asks us to call You Father simply
you supply us for us to complete
We recognize that you are the inventor
On each New Year.
What Thou hast begun in us;
A chief Divine Lumber, a facet of what you are.
We present you this new year as it will be.
The Beautiful and the Good that we can come to You.
We thank worry!
What would be mean and selfish,
Forgive him, we ask this.
We already know what awaits us:
The decision to build walls or bridges.
The wall divides the wall between the wall isolates.
The bridge spans the loneliness and misery.
The bridge leads to the other shore where so many brothers and sisters
We expect to restore the family.
good God, bless this new stage of our lives.
Give us be builders of bridges.
Protect us from the danger of building walls between us.
