Every day, Lord, we confide
great things children love to surround young
affection
parents and grandparents to care.
You told us a heart ripped patched,
a broken heart at ease,
to fill a hunger, a thirst to appease
.
You told us a happiness to share,
a feast to celebrate a birth
to announce a reconciliation
to stress.
You entrusted us to protect environment,
colleagues to observe,
to denounce injustice, to undo
misunderstandings.
Thank you, Lord, for your confidence.
Please help us see more clearly into our decisions.
Please guide us to the true good,
to make us each day
a little more worthy of that trust.
